We were trapped in our house… The garage door would not budge… We called precision, garage door and within 30 minutes. Got a call back to schedule an arrival time of between 12 and 2 PM. Our technician arrived at 12:30 and I reminded him that I needed to be out the door at 3:15 for a dermatology appointment which I could not miss. He explained his findings and offered us three options. We went with the middle option and we feel that we got good value with that choice. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and experienced. Based on yesterday’s experience, I would not hesitate to recommend precision, garage door to anyone!

Both of my remote openers stopped working at the same time due to a power surge as did the keypad outside. A service rep, A.J. came the same day I called and did a wonderful job. He diagnosed the problem, showed me how to pair the remotes with the opener when I asked him and installed a new keypad with larger numerals that is easier for me to use.

In regards to our emergency repair of our garage door, and another additional door. please see below: 1). Sunday call, July 12th, 2026.On line Operator scheduled our next morning repair. (A+ rating). 2). Monday morning service call from Gavin Compton, shortly after 8:00 a.m. (A+ rating). 3). Arrived on site, shortly before 8:30 a.m. Reviewed our situation and cost to repair. (A+ rating). 4). Discussed work with Gavin, started after we agreed to fix both doors and move forward. (A+ rating). 5). Pricing of repairs and materials and labor, very high priced and expensive. Felt like we were over charged for the time he was here and material cost. (D+ rating). 6). We were at the mercy of Precision, but they were very responsive, we will give them that, calling others with lower pricing was effective but were not readily available as quick as we needed. It was a double edge sword for us. The employee they sent was very knowledgeable, a great great employee for this company.

On Saturday, May 30th our garage door opener just failed - the door would not operate with the opener. Based on a previous good experience with Precision Garage Door (broken spring) I called, expecting that I might have to wait a few days. But I was pleasantly surprised when the scheduler was able to set ap an appointment for the following day. On Sunday, May 31st we received a message that our repair technician, Mr. Chung Yu Li was on the way. When he arrived, I found him to be very friendly and articulate. After hearing my explanation of our problem, he explained his process and began a thorough examination of our garage door as well as the motor and related components. Then he went through his observations, pointing out issues relating to the door (rollers, bearings, etc.) as well as issues related to the opener (motor, safety sensors). Then he presented his recommendations for what should be replaced and gave us an exact price quotation. I accepted the quote and he proceeded to perform the indicated work, all done within the time frame specified. With the refurbished door and the new motor, everything works more smoothly than ever. I am a happy camper!

I recently had Cameron do a service call for my garage door opener. His first comment was this is a nice expensive garage door. Our problem was the door would sometimes would not engage from either inside keypad or our remotes. It would start and then stop. Cameron tried to replicate but of course could not. He honestly could not find anything wrong. Grasping at straws he found a hairline split in one of the panel moldings claiming that panel was causing some buckling stopping the chain engagement. With positivity he said the springs you installed a few years ago were in good shape. Painting a doom or gloom outlook he suggested the door be replaced. Since Cameron was here my wife and I have literally kept track of the number of times the door has opened properly and has not FAILED once. Cameron was very polite and seemed very knowledgeable but I feel I as sold something that at this time we really don’t need or can afford despite the 0% financing. Equally upsetting is the fact that I gave called your office twice without the courtesy of a callback despite BRITTANY marking the last call URGENT ! Hopefully your email request for feedback is sincere and you can resolve this situation promptly. I am a former longtime District Manager for CVS which stands for Consumer-Value-Service and I know personally how damaging one poor review can be. Thanks for your time. Mike Futa 574-276-0741
