Garage Door Repair Reviews in Three Rivers Area, MI (Updated July 2026)

From beginning to end, the service was great. The young lady who answered the phone was very professional, nice, cheerful and polite. She gets 5 stars for being the best PR for your company. The technician, Gavin, was really nice, professional and did a great job. (Little did I know you were sending a celebrity!! I've seen him on the commercials). Everything was inspected, explained, and all questions answered before he started. He was kind and patient. From the first phone call, emails were sent every step of the way so I knew who was coming, when, etc. Gavin did a great a job, and before he left, he went over everything and again asked if I had any questions. I was pleasantly surprised that I got service on July 3rd, the start of a holiday weekend. Great people, great service!

Technician said my door needed a full replacement within 30 seconds of looking even though I just needed a cable replaced. Every bad review is based around price gouging and poor follow up service. Decided to get another opinion. I would suggest you do the same.

I’ll give you 5 stars with an asterisk. I had no problem with the work itself. Your man called before arriving quite on time and did what I asked him to do. However, I got the distinct impression that your guys are trained to go Through a “scripted” sales presentation, no matter what the customer says. Throw it against the wall and see What sticks? Run it up the pole and see if anyone salutes? I have a strong background concerning things Mechanical and understand the concept of wear-n-tear over a period of time. If a door roller is wobbly, well, They do that when new. Replace a cable that’s not showing any signs of fraying? Why? Replace a motor just Becaused it’s fifteen years old? It may well last another fifteen. They often do. Garage door systems are not Fragile things because they’re engineered not to be. But wait, there’s more! I got a kick out of the way the “Options” are presented on the little tablet screen. A cursory glance caught some insane price that exceeded Three thousand dollars. Come on. Really? I requested a spring adjustment. Some of us out here in garage Land may have the feeling we’re being played when we see stuff like this. I understand the desire to make a Buck. But the possibility exists that you may be pushing a mite too hard. Some of us still adhere to the old Axiom, If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I called because I saw your ad on TV. I called a local door company and they quoted me $450.00 to replace both tension springs, (1 was broken) but I had to wait until Friday. My truck was stuck inside the garage. Your technician quoted me $885.00. I refused the repair. I called another local company and they arrived in an hour and a half a replaced both springs for $500.00. I’m sorry but I can’t pay you $400.00 more than the next guy.

The tech (A.J.) was knowledgeable and professional in his explanation of the problem (a door opener that had lived well beyond its expected demise date) and in offering options for addressing the issue. A.J. worked efficiently and actually went above and beyond with some minor adjustments so the door now opens and closes quietly.

Our garage door wouldn't open due to faulty electrical. I called Precision and they had someone out quickly. He assessed the issue and suggested we install a manual key to access the garage if the issue occurs in the future. It was installed efficiently and the friendly technician made sure I could use it before leaving. Highly recommend.

Had an older malfunctioning opener. Identified the problem and installed a new Genie opener quickly and efficiently. Our tech was very good, personable and knowledgeable. Offered some options, didn't oversell and had the new opener working in under 2 hours. I would definitely use Precision again and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and neighbors.

I was able to call and get a same-day appointment to fix my garage door. Im no garage door expert, but Pete sure is! He did a great job of explaining every single thing going on with our system to determine what parts were salvageable and which ones were not. He made it very clear what my options were to get the door working again, and ultimately I decided to go with the parts package that I felt best would give us the longevity we need with our door. Big congrats to him and his family as well on the new baby!! Hes a very proud daddy already, and I couldnt be happier for him! He was in and out in about an hour and got the door working better than it has in the 6 years Ive lived in my house. Big shout out to Precision garage door for the stellar service and speed!
