Contacted Precision Garage Door of Michiana in the mid morning and did the online chat with Betty explained the problems with my garage door. Sent Andrew out same day at my time I specified. Andrew contacted me when he would arrive and did a complete inspection of the garage door and gave me an estimate for the repairs. I agreed to the price and I told him he could schedule me for a more convenient time for him to come repair the garage door to be repaired. Andrew said I have the parts available now and can complete the repairs now. I did not expect him to stay to get it done after 6 pm. There was no extra charge for him to complete the job after 6 pm. After completing the repairs the door works great and operates smoothly. A professional repair by Andrew and a great job by Betty for customer service. I had heard a loud bang but couldn't find the problem... They came out and showed me the broken spring. I made an appointment to just get everything replaced, except my motor (the rest was janky, previously installed by a lovely home flipper). Blaine came out had everything swapped out, made sure everything was functioning properly, left no mess, and was super polite. I had a fantastic experience! It even sounds cleaner /quieter, even though we didn't change the motor, now that everything is properly installed & aligned!

I was in the garage after returning home and was surprised by a sound like someone just hit our garage door. Passed experience told me it was a spring that just broke. Yep, sure enough, one broke. I called Precision Door the next morning and was told a tech would be out. I was sent a text and an email stating who would be coming. Within 40 minutes Andy Johnson arrived. Oh, and Andy called too. He was right on time. After evaluation he gave me 3 options with exact cost before starting. The door is at least 30 years old and so i chose the best option. Andy went to work and replaced both springs, shaft bearings, and all the rollers. I was shown the operation and how smooth it. Thank you Andy Johnson for a great job.

My one negative comment would be that I had not discussed pricing with precision door before the install, and I must say that the price was twice the highest price I expected this to be. This is on me. So my advice is to be sure and discuss pricing.

Peter Wendorf Was the tech for our job. We initially needed a track repair but after a thorough inspection of our rollers and our motor it was time for some needed replacement. Pete was polite, did his installation well, explained everything in detail when we asked our questions. Extremely nice young man. If all Precision Garage Door employees are like him the company will do do well. Loved the fact that they were available on a Sunday and we were comfortable with the pricing.
