We were trapped in our house… The garage door would not budge… We called precision, garage door and within 30 minutes. Got a call back to schedule an arrival time of between 12 and 2 PM. Our technician arrived at 12:30 and I reminded him that I needed to be out the door at 3:15 for a dermatology appointment which I could not miss. He explained his findings and offered us three options. We went with the middle option and we feel that we got good value with that choice. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and experienced. Based on yesterday’s experience, I would not hesitate to recommend precision, garage door to anyone!

Both of my remote openers stopped working at the same time due to a power surge as did the keypad outside. A service rep, A.J. came the same day I called and did a wonderful job. He diagnosed the problem, showed me how to pair the remotes with the opener when I asked him and installed a new keypad with larger numerals that is easier for me to use.

I had to have parts replaced on my garage door because I couldn’t get it open. The technician Cameron D. arrived on time and explained each of my options multiple times until I completing understood them, he was very patience, friendly and completed the job fairly quickly. In regards to our emergency repair of our garage door, and another additional door. please see below: 1). Sunday call, July 12th, 2026.On line Operator scheduled our next morning repair. (A+ rating). 2). Monday morning service call from Gavin Compton, shortly after 8:00 a.m. (A+ rating). 3). Arrived on site, shortly before 8:30 a.m. Reviewed our situation and cost to repair. (A+ rating). 4). Discussed work with Gavin, started after we agreed to fix both doors and move forward. (A+ rating). 5). Pricing of repairs and materials and labor, very high priced and expensive. Felt like we were over charged for the time he was here and material cost. (D+ rating). 6). We were at the mercy of Precision, but they were very responsive, we will give them that, calling others with lower pricing was effective but were not readily available as quick as we needed. It was a double edge sword for us. The employee they sent was very knowledgeable, a great great employee for this company.

Garage door spring broke in the morning. Called Precision at around 6am and they were at my door by 9:30am. Gavan did a great job asking me some questions and giving me some recommendations. He got right to work and 45 minutes later, he had all of the repairs done and went through them with me.

From beginning to end, the service was great. The young lady who answered the phone was very professional, nice, cheerful and polite. She gets 5 stars for being the best PR for your company. The technician, Gavin, was really nice, professional and did a great job. (Little did I know you were sending a celebrity!! I've seen him on the commercials). Everything was inspected, explained, and all questions answered before he started. He was kind and patient. From the first phone call, emails were sent every step of the way so I knew who was coming, when, etc. Gavin did a great a job, and before he left, he went over everything and again asked if I had any questions. I was pleasantly surprised that I got service on July 3rd, the start of a holiday weekend. Great people, great service!

Technician said my door needed a full replacement within 30 seconds of looking even though I just needed a cable replaced. Every bad review is based around price gouging and poor follow up service. Decided to get another opinion. I would suggest you do the same.

I’ll give you 5 stars with an asterisk. I had no problem with the work itself. Your man called before arriving quite on time and did what I asked him to do. However, I got the distinct impression that your guys are trained to go Through a “scripted” sales presentation, no matter what the customer says. Throw it against the wall and see What sticks? Run it up the pole and see if anyone salutes? I have a strong background concerning things Mechanical and understand the concept of wear-n-tear over a period of time. If a door roller is wobbly, well, They do that when new. Replace a cable that’s not showing any signs of fraying? Why? Replace a motor just Becaused it’s fifteen years old? It may well last another fifteen. They often do. Garage door systems are not Fragile things because they’re engineered not to be. But wait, there’s more! I got a kick out of the way the “Options” are presented on the little tablet screen. A cursory glance caught some insane price that exceeded Three thousand dollars. Come on. Really? I requested a spring adjustment. Some of us out here in garage Land may have the feeling we’re being played when we see stuff like this. I understand the desire to make a Buck. But the possibility exists that you may be pushing a mite too hard. Some of us still adhere to the old Axiom, If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
