During the tornado we lost Wi Fi communication with our Opener. We were unable to restore ourselves, so we scheduled a service call. Precision has the best scheduling and contact messaging, period. They kept us informed and arrived on time in spite of the extra service load as the result of the tornado. Gavin, the service tech was polite and obviously well trained. He re-established the connection, reprogramed the remotes (including the HomeLink in the vehicles). He also advised installing surge protectors. When you buy an opener from Precision they give you "The Precision Promise". There was no charge for the service call.

Andy was fantastic to work with. He arrived right on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and was able to replace our broken garage door spring along with several other worn parts the very same day. AJ replaced our garage door in August 2024 and did a great job so when our pole barn door failed yesterday I contacted Precision. AJ looked at it this afternoon. It is beyond repair so we are on the schedule for a replacement. The original door was probably about 25 years old, less than the best and not well installed so it is beyond life expectancy.

On Saturday, May 30th our garage door opener just failed - the door would not operate with the opener. Based on a previous good experience with Precision Garage Door (broken spring) I called, expecting that I might have to wait a few days. But I was pleasantly surprised when the scheduler was able to set ap an appointment for the following day. On Sunday, May 31st we received a message that our repair technician, Mr. Chung Yu Li was on the way. When he arrived, I found him to be very friendly and articulate. After hearing my explanation of our problem, he explained his process and began a thorough examination of our garage door as well as the motor and related components. Then he went through his observations, pointing out issues relating to the door (rollers, bearings, etc.) as well as issues related to the opener (motor, safety sensors). Then he presented his recommendations for what should be replaced and gave us an exact price quotation. I accepted the quote and he proceeded to perform the indicated work, all done within the time frame specified. With the refurbished door and the new motor, everything works more smoothly than ever. I am a happy camper!

The tech (A.J.) was knowledgeable and professional in his explanation of the problem (a door opener that had lived well beyond its expected demise date) and in offering options for addressing the issue. A.J. worked efficiently and actually went above and beyond with some minor adjustments so the door now opens and closes quietly.
