Garage door cable broke. Needed an emergency visit Friday after 7pm. Gavan the tech was here within an hour. Took him about an hour to repair. Gavan did an excellent job and was very thorough with the repair. Also confirmed door operates as expected and made an adjustment on the opener. I would recommend Precision Door and Gavan. Im a satisfied customer.

Rep replaced bad drive. Cost 1100.00 dollars which is a lot of money. I asked for the service guy to program my car opener and he said he would charge more to program it. Seems to me that the service guy would program my car for free after charging me 1100.00 dollars.

He came in, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 20 minutes, and it was covered by my warranty. Easiest service call I've ever had.

I called Overhead Door Company, and they were unable to come same day to fix our garage door stuck open on the coldest day of the year. Windchill was minus 10. Precision was able to come same day and arrived promptly. Andy Johnson did a great job adjusting and lubricating the travel mechanism and showed my husband how to lubricate it in the future.

The guy replaced the broken spring and the 2 suspension wires within an hour and charged $1287. Didnt even include lubrication of the bearings which would have cost him 5 min and maybe $10 lube. Pricy. I had to do it because I needed it fixed before my trip.

Get a second opinion. Positives: Precision was friendly and quick to come quote us. Negative: We were told by Precision our garage door was beyond repair and we need to just get a new one. This was going to be thousands of dollars. We just had that garage door fixed by Lechlitner Door for $173. Again, get a second opinion!!!
